Aware of the growing need for dental care in Antananarivo, the missionary family Saitis Marcel called on three doctor friends to carry out a 10-day mission in Madagascar, including 7 days of intensive work.

Dr. Darius Tarchila, a Romanian specialist in dental care, accompanied by his wife Delia and their friend Ligia, arrived in Madagascar on January 13, 2025. Their mission: to provide free dental care to residents of Ivato, Fitroafana, and Maibahoaka, giving them back their smiles—without pain.

For seven days, from 8 AM until sometimes 9 PM, these three dedicated doctors, assisted by the team from the Fifaliana Indray association, extracted and repaired the teeth of 250 patients. A priceless contribution, entirely free, that changed the lives of many.

We sincerely thank the National Order of Odonto-Stomatologists of Madagascar for allowing this initiative to take place for the benefit of Malagasy citizens.

Our goal is to expand this project to reach underprivileged residents in other districts, municipalities, regions, and provinces of Madagascar who urgently need this kind of intervention.
