On July 2nd, 2025, in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Madagascar’s independence, we experienced a powerful and hope-filled moment. In partnership with ASFA, an association led by Pastor Solofo—dedicated to evangelizing and socially supporting prisoners in Madagascar—our social project DIAKONIA had the joy of sharing a special meal with the young inmates of the Ambohidratrimo prison.
With 20 kg of chicken meat, we didn’t just offer food: we shared a message of love, dignity, and humanity. These boys—about 82 of them, all under the age of 18—smiled, some with tears in their eyes, simply happy to feel seen, valued, and remembered.
They told us, sometimes without words, how much it meant to them not to be forgotten.
This moment brought to mind the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:36:
“I was naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me.”
You too can be a helping hand.
A single piece of clothing, a bag of rice, a small financial donation—every gesture matters to remind these young souls that they have worth, a future, and most of all, that they are not alone.

Thank you for loving through action.
Thank you for hoping with us.
Thank you for not forgetting them.
